Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using Recall.OS ("the Software"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

2. License Grant

Trial: The free trial grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software with up to 25 documents for evaluation purposes.

Licensed: Upon purchase of a license key, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the Software on up to 5 devices, with unlimited documents and lifetime updates.

You may not redistribute, sublicense, reverse engineer, or decompile the Software.

3. Pricing and Payment

Recall.OS is offered as a one-time purchase of $29.99 USD. Prices may change for future purchases, but existing licenses remain valid indefinitely.

Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. You agree to Paddle's terms of service when making a purchase.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day refund policy. If you are unsatisfied with Recall.OS for any reason, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Email support@projectintuitus.com with your order details.

5. API Keys

Recall.OS requires a Google Gemini API key provided by you ("BYOK" — Bring Your Own Key). You are responsible for:

• Obtaining and managing your own API key
• Any costs associated with your API usage
• Complying with Google's terms of service for the Gemini API

Project Intuitus is not responsible for API availability, pricing changes, or data handling by Google.

6. Data and Privacy

Recall.OS processes all data locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your documents or personal data. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted. AI-generated answers should be verified against source documents.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Project Intuitus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Software. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the license.

9. Updates

Licensed users receive lifetime updates to the Software. We reserve the right to modify features and functionality in updates. Major version changes (e.g., v2.0) may require a separate license.

10. Termination

We may terminate your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must cease using the Software and delete all copies.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
